Overnight leader Ridhima Dilawari will take a four-shot advantage into the final day of the Kalhaar leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour event in Ahmedabad on Friday.

On Thursday, the runner-up at the opening BPGC leg in Mumbai produced a 3 under par 69 to total 5 under 139, four shots ahead of amateur Zara Anand (72-71, 143), the WGAI said.

Ridhima closed with a bogey but had reeled off four birdies in a row earlier in her 69 to go with her opening 70 in search of a first win since July last year at Zion Hills near Bangalore.

Jahanvi Bakshi (73-71), whose eagle on the Par-5 fifth made up for bogeys on holes 2 and 4, also picked up a shot on 11 for a 1 under 71 to be tied for third alongside Amandeep Drall (72-72).

While Ridhima holds a healthy lead on the field, as many as eight players are within three shots of each other behind her.

Amandeep seemed headed for a good day with four birdies against two bogeys through 17 holes but double-bogeyed the last that dropped her to level par for the second straight day.

Roller-coaster run

Delhi amateur Lavanya Gupta, the All-India ladies champion had a roller-coaster of a day, beginning with two bogeys and a double on her first three holes.

She recovered with birdies on 4, 5 and 8 but another bogey on 9 meant she turned in 2-over. A further four birdies on the back nine gave her a superb 70 after a 75 in the first round.

Lavanya was tied for fifth place with Nayanika Sanga (73-72) on 1 over 145.

Vani Kapoor and Saanvi Somu shot a second straight 73 each for tied seventh alongside Sneha Singh (71-75), who slipped in the second round.

Amateur Janneya A. Dasanniee (79-72), Rhea Purvi (76-75) and Lavanya Jadon (75-76) rounded off the top-10 at 7 over 151.

Mumbai leg winner, Jasmine Shekar (79-74) was tied for 17th.

The cut fell at 159 and 27 players made it to the final round.
