Day one joint leader Pranavi Urs survived three bogeys on the back nine on Thursday and still took a two-shot lead into the final round at Bombay Presidency GC.

An early push gave Pranavi a one-over 71 and a two-day aggregate of level par 140 after an opening 69 in the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour event at Mumbai.

Day one co-leader Amandeep Drall (69-74) slipped to third place at the end of the day, the WGAI said.

Afshan Fatima also had a wobbly back nine with three birdies and three bogeys but still went one-under 69, the only under-par score of the second round.

Afshan was two-over 142 and lying second, while amateur Vidhatri Urs (72-72) was fourth.

Vani Kapoor (73-73) was tied for fifth alongside Shweta Mansingh (76-70) and amateur Nishna Patel (71-75) on six-over 146.

Pranavi, who had a faultless back nine on the first day was two-under after 12 holes before three bogeys cut into her lead.
