Diksha Dagar brought in a second straight top-10 finish and Pranavi Urs was further down the order in the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF-Tampa at the Feather Sound Country Club on Sunday.

Diksha shot a steady 1-under 71 on the third and final day to follow earlier rounds of 69 and 70 for a 6-under par 210 that saw her finish in a tie for sixth place behind event winner Alexandra Fosterling of Germany.

Fosterling shot a final round of 5 under 67 to secure a three-shot victory on 12-under 204 from England’s Charley Hull (207) and Bronte Law (208).

At 3 under par 213, Pravani (72), early in her Ladies European Tour career. took a share of 17th place after going 67-74 in the first two rounds.

It has been a good start for the two, who are both multiple winners on their home tour, the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour.

Diksha was T9 at the Laila Meryem Cup Morocco after being T19 in Kenya, while Pranavi, the no. 1 golfer in India in 2022, was tied for fifth in Morocco. Pranavi is now 14th on the LET Order of Merit and Diksha 17th.

“It wasn’t easy but on some few holes I had good shots,” Diksha said later.

Good recoveries

“I struggled a bit with the wind but made some great up and downs and it was alright. I’m happy with that. But on some of the birdie holes, I made a few silly mistakes.”

Pranavi Urs was happy with her first Aramco Team Series event in which she had a sixth place finish. “It was my first ever team series so I absolutely loved playing with Bronte and Sophia (Popov).

“I think the first hour was pretty good, it was a bit of a roller coaster but overall I think I’ve been playing pretty and it was good to keep the momentum going from Morocco. I think I did fairly well.”

On the conditions, she added, “I think yesterday (Round 2) and today was really windy. I’m not really used to playing in windy conditions but I think I handled myself pretty good. Shot par today so which isn’t too bad.”

On her moment of the week, Pranavi said, “(It was) the first day when I had five birdies in a row. I think it was pretty cool.

Fun feeling

“To contribute as much as I did the first day. I wished I did better the second day, but I think just contributing towards the team was really fun. It was just really a good experience.”

Tied second overnight, Fosterling started well and kept making gains to put space between herself and the pack that set up her third LET title.

“I feel overwhelmed,” the 24-year-old German said later.“I don’t know what to say!

“It’s an amazing feeling, I was definitely nervous like you always are in a final round, but I just tried to learn from the last times when I won and just play my game, adjust to the wind and have fun.

“I really tried to stay patient and really have fun and just stay in the moment and not think ahead and not think about the past. That’s what I try every single round.”

Hull, also three-time LET winner, now has two runner-up finishes from her two LET starts in 2024 while Morocco winner Law made a late run with a 5 under 67 to take third place.

Spain’s Ana Peláez Trivino and Carlota Ciganda shared fourth place on 7-under-par.

The LET now has a two-week break before heading to Australia for the Women’s NSW Open which takes place from March 29 from 31 at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club.
