Vidhatri Urs picked up her second title in as many starts on the 10th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at Prestige Golfshire near Bangalore on Friday.

In just her fourth start as a professional, Vidhatri, who finished third and tied third in her first two starts, made it back-to-back wins, this time in a play-off over Amandeep Drall, the WGAI said.

Vidhatri, who started the day with a two-shot lead, could afford a closing 2 over par 74, but with Amandeep returning a fine 70, the day’s best card, the pair headed into a play-off.

Vidhatri kept her nerve to make a par on 10 as Amandeep missed the fairway and did not recover.

Vidhatri had just two birdies against four bogeys in regulation while Amandeep opened with an eagle two on Par-4 first.

She then added three birdies against one dropped shot and despite being four behind Vidhatri at the start, Amandeep caught up with the leader halfway through the final round.

The two then carded two bogeys and a birdie each on the back nine to finish level on 2 over 218.

With a second straight 71, Sneha Singh climbed to third, one shot outside the playoff. She needed a birdie on 18 after one on 17 to force herself into contention but could not do so. On the day she had five birdies against four dropped shots.

Rhea Jha (73) was fifth, while Jasmine Shekar, who was behind Vidhatri after the second day, shot 77 and finished fifth.

Amateur Mannat Brar (74) and Hitaashee Bakshi (77) were tied for sixth, while Khushi Khanijau 78) was eighth.

Kriti Chowhan (76) and Neha Tripathi (77) completed the top 10. Saanvi Somu had a 79 to finish in 11th place.

In the Hero Order of Merit standings, Hitaashee Bakshi stays in the lead with Sneha second, Amandeep third, Khushi Khanijau fourth and Gaurika Bishnoi fifth.
