Vani, Sneha and Amandeep back for the Jaipur leg of Hero WPGT

India’s top women professionals return to action at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur after a six-week gap for the 14th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour on Wednesday.

Eight different players have won the first 13 legs with only Vani Kapoor (four), and Amandeep Drall and Sneha Singh (two each) winning more than once.

There are two events left for many of the players who are still in search of their first win of the season.

Final stage

As the WGAI Tour moves towards its closing weeks, the field will have all the top stars led by Order of Merit leader Vani Kapoor.

Vani has been in great form this season with two runner-up finishes besides the four wins in 10 starts, and she has also divided her time between domestic play and the Ladies European Tour.

Other well-known players in the field are Jasmine Shekar, Neha Tripathi, Ridhima Dilawari, Seher Atwal, Durga Nittur and Khushi Khanijau.

The Jaipur field has amateurs Saanvi Somu, Anvvi Dahhiya, Eti Chaudhary, Riya Jadon and Shiksha Jain in the 36-strong field for the Rs 16 lakh event.
