On a roll before the summer break, Vani Kapoor looks all set to continue her run of form with the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour resuming its 2025 schedule in Mysore on Thursday.

DLF-based Vani won three events in a row before the summer break in March. The tour tees off again at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club with its seventh leg, the WGAI said.

Vani has been prolific this season, winning the fourth, fifth and sixth legs besides finishing second and third from her five starts after missing the opening event.

Sneha Singh, who has won twice is not playing this week but Rhea Purvi Saravanan, who won the opener, will be back in action. Only three players have won at the six events played so far.

Other top names who will tee it up at the JWGC are Amandeep Drall, Jasmine Shekar, Seher Atwal, Vidhatri Urs, Neha Tripathi, Ridhima Dilawari and Shweta Mansingh.

Vani, Amandeep and Ridhima are also hoping for some good preparation ahead of possible starts on the Ladies European Tour and the Hero Women’s Indian Open in the second half of the season.

In all, 27 players including two amateurs are in the field this week for the event that carries a purse of Rs.14 lakh.
Vani leads the Hero Order of Merit with Sneha Singh and Amandeep Drall in pursuit.
