Tvesa Malik is among five Indian players in the field this week for the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open at the Golfpark Holzhausern.

The two higher than her on the Ladies European Tour’s order of merit – Diksha Dagar and Pranavi Urs – are both taking a break.

The others in the field at the Swiss Ladies Open are Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall. Ridhima Dilawari and Seher Atwal.

Tvesa has been finding some form of late starting with the Dormy Open in Helsingborg, where she logged a tied 10th place finish.

She followed up by making the cut at the Italian Open and Czech Ladies Open, where she was T25 last week.

The run has lifted Tvesa up the ranking and she is currently 76th on the merit list, needing  to be in the top 80 to ensure a card for 2025.

Vani has played a few events this season but not had a top 10 yet, while Amandeep and Ridhima have had limited appearances. Seher makes her first start on the LET this season.

Home favourite

Chiara Tamburlini is ready to go in her home event and will tee up as the domestic favourite amongst the 14 Swiss players at Golfpark Holzhäusern, She sits fourth on the order of merit.

Tamburlini, winner of this year’s Joburg Ladies Open, is excited at the challenge as she looks to kick on with the remainder of the season.

“I had a week off last week. Kind of resting my wrist and my mind to be honest,” the 24-year-old told the LET website.

“It was really good to be home for a full week. I honestly took a lot of time away from golf. I think I took five or six days away which was a first this year.

“But it really helped me and I feel like I’m excited to get back on the golf course. With it being a home event as well, excitement all around!”

The Swiss star enjoyed a magnificent start to her debut season winning in South Africa, finishing runner-up at the Jabra Ladies Open, and registering two more top-10s to climb to the top of the rookie standings.
