Regnum Carya in Belek-Antalya, will host the Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament for the third year running at its award winning 18 hole course from November 1.

It is the sixth tournament out of eight in the European Tour’s Rolex Series, the premium category of events on the European Tour.

Now in its sixth year, the Turkish Airlines Open has again drawn a top quality field for the $7 million prize purse and trophy.

That includes defending champion Justin Rose of England, currently in action at the WGC-HSBC Champions event in Shanghai.

Rose made three birdies in his last four holes to secure victory at last year’s tournament ahead of South African Dylan Fritelli.

The winner’s trophy was delivered in spectacular style by a Turkish Airlines drone.

For the third year running, competitors face the prospect of a “rooftop tee-off” on the 16th hole, located on the roof of a Baron Villa at Regnum Carya.

Ali Safak Ozturk, president of the board of Regnum Carya said: “We are delighted to be hosting one of the most prestigious tournaments on the golfing calendar for the third year running.

“We once again welcome some of the most prolific golfers in the world, further consolidating Belek’s status,” he added.

Top-class facility

Chosen as the top golf destination by the IAGTO in 2008, Regnum Carya houses two world-class golf courses – the Carya Golf Club and the National Golf Club.

Sitting on an immaculate Mediterranean Sea beach, Regnum Carya is a short drive from Antalya International Airport.

It is also near the National Golf Club, the Tat Golf Belek and Antalya Golf Club and the Kaya Eagles Golf Club.
