World number one Scottie Scheffler won the men’s golf gold medal with a blistering late run in the Paris Olympic Games on Sunday, relegating Britain’s Tommy Fleetwood to silver and Hideki Matsuyama of Japan to bronze as India’s challenge never got going at Le Golf National.
