Pranavi Urs, Tvesa Malik and Vani Kapoor headline a group of seven Indians at the Hills Open in Gothenburg, Sweden, this week.
The others in the field for the 300,000 euro event are Ladies European Tour rookie Avani Prashanth, Amandeep Drall, Sneha Singh and Hitaashee Bakshi.
India’s top name on the LET, Diksha Dagar has opted out this week ahead of the season’s busy second half which includes the Hero Women’s Indian Open.
While Diksha has racked up several top 10 finishes and sits 12th on the LET’s Order of Merit, the others have been trying to find some mid-season traction.
While Pranavi (86th) is coming back from a wrist injury, Avani holds a solid 38th place on the merit list as of now in her rookie season.
Seeking starts
The experienced duo of Vani Kapoor (97th) and Amandeep Drall are trying to find regular starts on the LET.
Sneha and Hitaashee have been a force on their home Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, but have yet to find their feet on the European circuit.
England’s Mimi Rhodes continues to impress in her rookie season and leads the Order of Merit on 1,821.74 points having played 14 tournaments in the 2025 season.
The 23-year-old will be in action again this week at Gothenburg with second-placed Sara Kouskova of Czechia also in the fields.
A three-time LET winner already, Rhodes has enjoyed a strong run, through the season and is keen to finish atop the Order of Merit.
Looking ahead to the Hills Open, Rhodes said she was excited by what the course has to offer.
“It’s really nice. The views are immaculate. The fairways are really crisp,” she told the LET website.
“There are some reachable par-fives and two par-three’s back-to-back, so it’s honestly a really interesting setup. I think low scores can be made here.”
