The second half of the Professional Golf Tour of India’s 2025 schedule will be spread over 15 events offering Rs 17 crore in prize money and three more feeder tour tournaments.

This will take the total prize money fund for the year to Rs 33 crore and PGTIO president Kapil Dev said on the occasion 2026 would be even bigger and better.

And, according to PGTI chief exevcutive Amandeep Johl on the sidelines of Saturday’s launch, there is also a PGTI League in the pipeline. “We have been thinking about it for a while,” he told the Hindustan Times.

The tour resumes with the Rs 1 crore Coal India Open at Ahmedabad’s Kensville Golf and Country Club from August 5 to 8.

Besides the schedule, the PGTI also said “significant new collaborations” and reinforced existing partnerships promised to accelerate golf’s growth around the country.

Event milestone

For one, IndianOil will observe the 25th year of its Servo Masters, making it the longest-running event on the PGTI’s calendar, and diary giant Amul comes on board as a tour partner.

Also on the schedule is the Rs 1 crore Trident Open, supported by Punjab’s Trident Group, a diversified conglomerate with businesses in textiles, paper, chemicals, energy and more, at the Chandigarh Golf Club from November 11 to 14.

Two venues have been added to the season’s second half, the Clover Greens Resort and Golf Club in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and the Kolar’s Zion Hills Golf County, which hosted a women’s tour event recently. Both venues are near Bangalore.

While Clover Greenswill host the Rs 1 crore PGTI Players Championship from August 19 to 22, Zion Hills is the venue of the inaugural Rs 1 crore Kolar Open, from August 26 to 29.
