Ridhima Dilawari produced a bogey-free final round to emerge a clear winner of the Poona Club Golf Course leg of the Hero WPGT on Thursday.

Her 3 under par 68 left closest rivals Vani Kapoor and Tvesa Malik way behind at the Rs 17 lakh event and handed Ridhima her second win of the season, the WGAI said.

Ridhima totalled 3 under 208 to finish six shots clear of Vani, who was 3 over 214. Amateur Anuradha Chaudhuri (69) tied for second with Vani, while Tvesa Malik (76) was fourth on 215.

Ridhima opened with four pars, even as Vani went bogey-double bogey-bogey and Tvesa double bogeyed the second and bogeyed the third hole.

That set Ridhima on course to victory and she never looked back.

Birdies on holes five and nine with pars in between saw Ridhima turn in 2 under.

On the back nine she birdied 12 and parred the rest for a 68, the best card of the day and her second such score this week.

Tough day

Vani’s difficult day continued with bogeys on five, six and eight. Her only respite was a birdie on seven, making it five bogeys and a double against one birdie on the front nine.

The back nine saw three birdies against one bogey but it was too late and her 75 was still enough to second a share of second place.

Anuradha (69) had four birdies against two bogeys on the day.

Tvesa recorded two bogeys and a double on the front nine, with one double and one bogey on the back nine against birdies eight and nine.

Sneha Singh (77), Neha Tripathi (72), Nayanika Sanga (68) and Jahanvi Bakshi (69) tied for fifth place.

Amateur Lavanya Gupta (73) was ninth, while Jasmine Shekar (73), Lavanya Jadon (72) and Vidhatri Urs (72) shared tenth place.

Amandeep Drall (71) was tied 13th alongside Ananya Garg (71).

Ridhima’s earnings see her stay atop the Hero Order of Merit with Rs. 7,24,667. Vani is a distant second at Rs.4,66,000 and Tvesa with Rs.3,70,000 is third.
