Sneha Singh and Amandeep Drall flew in from Sweden to tee up for the 12th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour though last week’s champion, Heena Kang, has withdrawn with a back strain.
A total of 34 players including five amateurs will tee up on Wednesday for the Rs.15 lakh purse at Clover Greens, which recently hosted a men’s professional event.
Sneha and Amandeep, who are also preparing for the Hero Women’s Indian Open will be among the leading contenders, the WGAI said.
Sneha has already won two times and Amandeep once this season.
Some of the other strong players in the field are Ridhima Dilawari, Seher Atwal, Jasmine Shekar and Vidhatri Urs.
Another name to reckon with istalented amateur Mannat Brar.
