Dhruv Pal Singh emerged with best golfer honours in the LG LED TV presents the 4moles.com Golf Rendezvous 2020 at Classic Golf Resort last week.

Good golfing weather and a course in pristine condition greeted a full field of 118 golfers and the conditions contributed towards some good scoring.

Dhruv Pal fired three birdies in his round of one over par 73 to claim the top spot and walked away with a top of the line LG OLED television set on offer for the best golfer of the tournament.

The participants were required to manage the tournament flow aligned to Covid-19 mandates, and competition was close as the Callaway Handicap format made the scoring fair for all levels of participants.

Top junior, top score

While Dhruv Pal won based on his gross score, the other category scored on gross was for juniors which Nick Faldo India series winner Hunar Mittal of Chandigarh topped with a round of level par 72.

There were three handicap categories where scoring was based on the Callaway system.

In the 0-10 handicap category, Anup Kumar Tiwari won with a net score of 71 while Col Sanjay Chowdhary finished runner up with a net 72.

Rajesh Kumar and Mayank Arora finished on net 73s in the 11-18 handicap category, but Rajesh was adjudged winner on count-back.
