Parmod Chopra of Rotary Club of Delhi South East emerged overall winner of the 20th SAFGR Rotary District 3011 annual golf tournament at Jaypee WishTown last week.
Other winners included Sunita Singh, Madhabi Venkat, Avnish Sharma, Kishore Thakur, Sandeep Kalra and Rajat Mukherjee.
SAFGR is a fellowship association of South Asia Rotarian Golfers from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, with over 650 members.
At the event, a body, the Rotary Club of Delhi Golfers was formed, comprising golfers from Delhi NCR, conceptualised by Manoj Jain (district chair golf) and Deepak Kodwani.
The one-day event, on January 29, was sponsored by HSBC and the host clubs included Rotary Club of Delhi South East and Rotary Club of Delhi Golfers
Among other event sponsors were Radico, GYGY infrastructure, Discover India Inbound Travels, Silver Glades Hospitality, Yatra Travels, and Golfers Choice Golf Accessories, Berkowits Skin and Hair Clinic, Hatfield Investigation & Consulting, Deep Blue Express Logistics & Supply Chain, Neeti Printing Outdoor and Indoor Advertising, Zyrex Pickle Ball Accessories, and Absoluttee Skin Clinic.
