Ananyaa, Cheema and Bhadoo win titles at US Kids Euro C’ships

Ananyaa Sood, Nihal Cheema and Manyaveer Bhadoo came away with title wins at the US Kids Golf European Championships played over four courses in Scotland during the week.

In all, the Indian contingent at the event added five other top 5 finishes besides the three winners, Ananyaa in the Girls 13 section, Nihal in the Boys 7 and Manyaveer in the Boys 15-18, a statement from US Kids Golf India said.

Besides them, Ojaswini Saraswat was runner-up in the Girls 11, Guntas Kaur Sandhu third in the Girls 13, Naina Kapur and Kriti Parekh fourth in the Girls 12 and Girls 14 respectively, and Sohraab Singh Talwar fifth in the Boys 10.

It was a strong performance once again from the Indian group and one of the best ever at the event, with as many as 22 having qualified either through the US Kids Golf India Tours in Gurgaon and Bangalore, or the 2023 Indian Championships.

More than 600 golfers from about 25 countries participated in 17 age groups, nine in the boys section and eight in the girls at four well-known golf courses in Scotland.
