Amandeep Drall shot a second successive 2 under par 70 to share the day 2 lead with Jasmine Shekar at the Boulder Hills leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour in Hyderabad on Thursday.
A winner earlier in the season, Amandeep parred her final 10 holes in the closing event of the 2024 season after dropping two shots in the first four holes, the WGAI said.
However, three birdies between the fifth and eighth holes ensured a good round, as she moved to 4 under 140 for two days.
Jasmine, who also bogeyed twice early in the round, returned a 1 under 71 with four birdies against three dropped shots.
Hyderabad golfer Sneha Singh (71) and overnight leader Nayanika Sanga (73) were tied for third and Order of Merit leader Hitaashee Bakshi, was sole fifth after cards of 69 and 73.
Straight run
Hitaashee had just one bogey and parred the other 17 holes while Sneha and Nayanika had three birdies against one bogey each.

Vidhatri Urs, one of two players to have won three times this season, shot a 70 while Gaurika Bishnoi had a 73 for tied sixth place on 1 under 143.
Khushi Khanijau (71-73), Anvitha Narender (73-72) and amateur Kaya Daluwatte (70-76) rounded off the top ten.
The final round will see a close battle between the top seven players who are within three shots of each other.
The lead group will comprise local star Sneha, Order of Merit winner in 2023, Jasmine Shekar and Amandeep Drall.
The course was challenging and no player came back bogey-free. The cut fell at 152 and 17 made the final round of the year’s closing leg.
